Travel Journal - Day 13
Last Post From China!!
Hey everyone! This is our last post from China!! Tonight we need to have
all of our bags packed and have them sitting in the hallway for the
bellboys. They will actually take all of our luggage to the airport for us
ahead of time. That is really nice!! Today consisted of a wonderful
breakfast, like always, and then group pictures in the lobby. It was quite
the fiasco!! If you can imagine 30 plus families, all with their new
children all waiting to be photographed, then add on some kids that are
hungry, tired, or just plain not excited with the moment, and wrap it all
together, that is what it was like!! We all were in our "group"
pictures depending on which province our girls came from, and then we took
province pictures of just the girls. Hopefully I will have some good
pictures to attach to this post. We had a little down time after that, so we
of course bought some more shoes for Taya (3 bucks a shot, why not!!) and a
piece of luggage to bring all of the souvenirs home in!! We leave at 3:00 to
head to the American Consulate (or Embassy?? I’m not sure!!) to take an
oath, and then we are free to head back to the United States!!! We are so
ready to be home. God has answered our prayers for a beautiful daughter to
fit right into our family, for a healthy trip with no illness, for our boys
to be safe and happy, and to bring us all home again. Please pray for the
last part, as we aren’t quite home yet!! ( : This has been a journey of a
lifetime and we are so happy to have been able to share it with family and
friends. Your prayers and well wishes meant and mean so much to us. We just
can’t wait to have you all meet our little princess, but most of all we
can’t wait to become a complete family when we see our boys again!! Dustin
and Jonah….It’s oh so close to time to meet Taya!! Can’t wait!! See
you before you know it!!

Not
flesh of my flesh
Nor

But
still miraculously my own
Never

for a

You
didn’t grow
under
my heart
But in
it

received the spirit of bondage again to
