She lives in Holt sponsored foster care
holtintl.org
Her birthdate is August 17, 2003
On
September 1, 2005 (a beautiful day spent ferrying to Martha's Vineyard,
riding the flying horses carousel, strolling the gingerbread cottage lined
streets of the old Methodist Campground in Oak Bluffs, and shopping at The
Black Dog) we found out we have a new daughter!!! Li Juan is living in
foster care sponsored by our adoption agency (Holt Int'l) in Yanbian, Jilin.
Our precious and beautiful daughter turned 2 on August 17, 2005. Our letter
of intent (LOI) should go to China by September 16 and we should travel 2 -
4 months after that to bring her home. Jilin is in Northern China so we all
will be experiencing a winter adoption trip again - but even colder this
time! We can't wait to see and hold Li Juan. Emma and Lilla are both excited
about their new mei mei (little sister). Lilla will now get to be a jie jie
(big sister) like Emma. We are blessed to have been chosen to be Li Juan's
parents. We hope to be traveling to China before the end of 2005. YEAH!!!
Please follow our trip and please pray for Li Juan and for us, her new
family. God bless you!

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
