Travel Journal - Day 6

Hello! We spent a wonderful, relaxing day (finally!) with Abby. We decided not to go on the big outing to the Chinese Walmart (LOL) and just hang out at the hotel with Abby. I even took a nap while she did, which was great, since that's not something I normally get to do at home!

Abby seems to be doing better today. She's not itching as much and seems more comfortable. She had her first Cheerios today and 2 Arrowroot cookies which she loved. She's eating well, and is happy. She's a quiet, sweet baby, but when she smiles, it lights up our lives. She's having a little tummy trouble, so we're going easy on the steamed eggs that the babies all love for a couple of days. It's an amazing process bonding with her. She is looking for me if I walk away and cries if somebody else holds her. If I put her down, she wants me to pick her up. Feeding her a bottle and having her stare at me while I stare at her is amazing, and she puts her hand on my face. I just melt. :)

I'm sorry this is going to be so short, but the Business Center is closing. I promise more pictures and another post tomorrow. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers - we're a bit nervous because there are terrorist threats for the next city we are due to fly to on Friday for the US Consulate. We all just want to get home safe and sound to our families with our new daughters. Thinking of you all - miss you Scott and Evan. I would do anything to be home right now with you. Hugs and kisses times times infinite. Pet Bernie and Gizmo for me too. Love you, love you, miss you so much.

Love from Kristen and Abby
