Saturday, November
13, 2004 - Medical Exam
Today was Kya's medical
exam on Shamian Island. It was exciting to go to the Island for the first time
since we've heard so much about it. However, Kya was not fond of the exam,
obviously! There were so many of us there. There were other AWAA families
that had gone to other provinces and we all met up here in Guangzhou (4 AWAA
groups total, about 40 something babies with our agency.) There were other
agency travel groups coming in to the medical exam area, as we were
leaving.

There were 3
stations total. I think they were
(1) general look
over and listen to heart & lungs
(2) eyesight and
hearing (3) temperature and weight

We took a taxi to
Shamian Island (pretty scary) by ourselves Sat night for Thai food, loved
it.
