Packing your own food also enables you to control what you eat in terms of ingredients and portions. You can also throw in a few healthy snacks such as fruits, nuts and yoghurt to help you maintain high energy levels throughout the day.

You may opt to have a water bottle with a capacity of 1 litre.
This means that you will take at least 1 litre of water while at work, and the other litre at home in the morning and evening. It is beneficial to sip some water after every hour in order to keep you hydrated instead of taking the whole bottle at once.
Walking is a subconscious form of exercise since it is not strenuous. If you have an office job that requires constant sitting at your desk, ensure you take regular walks to flex your body muscles. Walk up and down a flight of stairs while socializing with colleagues during breaks, take your meals outside the office to increase your chances of walking and make trips to the copier machine by yourself instead of sending someone.
